This week’s interview is with Game of Thrones star Ian Beattie, who played Ser Meryn Trant. Beattie describes the character as ‘a complete scumbag’ and talks about how enjoyable it is to play someone who is (‘hopefully’) completely different to yourself.

We also delved into his time working with Oliver Stone on the 2004 epic Alexander, and Beattie’s disappointments in the project, but also his joy at working with the likes of Robin Lane Fox. We also got a taste of his work on The Vikings, and what’s coming next from him.
