Nick Wood Interview – Building Bridges


Nick Wood is a writer with African roots who was born and lived in Zambia and South Africa for 35 years. He is the author of the YA SF novel, The Stone Chameleon and numerous short stories. His recent SF book, Azanian Bridges, was nominated for Best Novel in the 2016 BSFA awards

At Eastercon, I had the pleasure of speaking to Nick about his work, both literary and in real life. We also discussed the rise of African fiction writing and its bright future. Oh, and South Africans on the moon. Yes, you read that right.
