The Tolkien Society began the Tolkien Reading Day in 2003, to promote the outstanding work of Professor J.R.R. Tolkien.
This year’s theme is “Friendship in Tolkien’s works”, an occasion to remember and celebrate the deep connections developed in Tolkien’s own life and work. Schools, museums, libraries and groups from all walks of life, are encouraged to host their own event.
The society will organise an extra special online party, so stay tuned!
