The PS plus games for August have gone live and up for grabs this month is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.

Feel free to check out the trailers and details below for further details.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Like Wipeout only with hotdogs and giant fruit. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will have you challenge obstacle courses with up to 99 other players. The only goal is to be the last one or team standing. The game has received praise for its levels, or episodes as they are called in its TV stylised format, which result in some truly hilarious gameplay moments. The only issues raised with the game are the lack of an offline or practice mode and no split screen option for local play which means that all your attempts must be made online against real players. You will likely need to endure many public humiliations before you finally manage to master a course and make the cut.

If you’re looking for a game to have a good laugh in with friends then this might just be the game for you. Feel free to watch at the trailer above if you want to know more.

Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered

Originally release in 2009, the title has been given a revamp with new higher resolution textures, new lighting and animations. The game follows on from the events in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and contains all the single player missions. The remastered title’s visuals have received a lot of praise with many saying that it looks very much like a modern title. However, many agree that while it looks great it still feels of it’s era, particularly with the array of weapons on offer which seem to lack the variety of a modern game.

As a remaster this is a great title, but it doesn’t stand up to the 2019 reboot of the first Modern Warfare game. So, if that’s what you’re expecting then you might find yourself a little disappointed. However, if you played and enjoyed the original Modern Warfare 2 and you want to relive it with up to date graphics then this is certainly well worth a download. Feel free to watch the trailer above for a look at the new improved graphics.
