There are four titles to download this month with PS4, PS5 and PSVR players all catered for. Destruction AllStars has also been extended for an extra month making it five titles on offer, if you have a PS5 and haven’t downloaded yet.

Final Fantasy 7: Remake – PS4

If you are old enough to have played the original then this title is a remake of the events set in Midgar on the first disc of the original. This title has been complete recreated from the ground up for PS4 consoles with fully up to date graphics and game mechanics. Anyone who bought the game will be given a free PS5 upgrade when it releases later this year, but this free version is only for the PS4 and will not allow the user a free PS5 upgrade. For more information, you can check out the tailer above or you can click here for my review.

Remnant: From the Ashes – PS4

An action roleplaying, third person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. The player can create their own custom character and can team up with up to three other players with the aim of destroying the interdimensional evil, the Root, which is responsible for the world’s apocalypse. The game was released in 2019 to mostly positive reviews with it receiving praise for its co-op elements and combat system.

Maquette – PS5

A Escher styled puzzle game in which the player can manipulate the landscape around them in order to solve its puzzles. Feel free to check out the trailer above for a glimpse of what is on offer.

Farpoint  – PSVR

A VR first person shooter which was made specifically for the PSVR including a custom-made gun shaped controller. While this game is playable with a regular controller, its real value is only unlocked through the custom gun controller accessory. The free version is obviously just the game. However, if you have a PSVR and never played it then it is well worth a download, even you don’t have the accompanying controller. You just won’t really get the best out of the game without it. Feel free to check out the trailer above, if you want to know more.
