Gotham Actors Coming To Comic Con Germany

Since 2014 dark crime television series Gotham is not only enjoyed by Batman fans. Based on characters and stories from DC Comics, the show features the fight against crime before the masked hero took over. The organizers from Comic Con Germany have now announced four leading actors from the show to visit the convention on June 25th and 26th:

Sean Pertwee (as Alfred Pennyworth)

Who could be a better impersonator of the faithful butler of Bruce Wayne than English actor Sean Pertwee? Born to a family of theater actors, Sean Pertwee started his acting in TV shows and movies in the late 80s. His most notable movies are Event Horizon (1997) and Equilibrium (2002). He is also frequently working as a voice over artist for documentaries, animated films video games (e.g. Fable, Killzone, and Assassin’s Creed).

Robin Lord Taylor (as Oswald Cobblepot)

His portrayal of the wicked Penguin got the 38-year-old Robin Taylor a lot of praise – even from ex-Penguin actor Danny DeVito. Before taking the role of a major character in Gotham, Robin Taylor starred in various TV shows like The Walking Dead, Law & Order and Person of Interest.

Drew Powell (as Butch Gilzean)

Even with the first role as Drew in the TV show Malcom in the Middle, Drew Powell got himself known by a wider audience. Shortly after that he played the young Hoss Cartwright in the western show Ponderosa (2001/2002). Drew Powell starred in various TV shows and movies before getting the role as Butch Gilzean, right hand of gangster boss Fish Mooney in Gotham.

David Mazouz (as Bruce Wayne)

David Mazouz started acting for commercials when he was 8 years old. Beforeo David was casted for the role as billionaire Bruce Wayne, he appeared in various movies and shows for television.

Comic Con Germany is scheduled to take place on June 25th and 26th, 2016, in Stuttgart, Germany, in two of the most modern expo halls (Hall 1 and Hall 3). Stretching over more than 50,000 sqm, visitors can look forward to enjoying an extensive program featuring their favorite Comic, Anime, Game, Movie and TV Series brands and characters. Comic Publishing Houses, Comic Artists, Cosplayers, Hollywood Celebrities, Exhibitions, Walking Acts, Real Movie Props, a large dealer’s section and much more will be featured during the 2-day exhibition, making it Germany’s largest Comic Con. Up to 30 Hollywood celebrities, famous from TV and movies, already signed up to engage in Comic Con Germany, and to hold signing sessions and live Q&As for their fans.

Comic Con Germany’s organizers are very well known to the German market. Since 1992, they organized more than 50 fan events, including FedCon, RingCon and HobbitCon.
