Comic Con Germany & Star Trek 50th Anniversary

Legendary science fiction franchise Star Trek celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and Comic Con Germany is part of the festivities. FedCon, a partner convention of Comic Con Germany, has obtained the license from CBS to offer official Star Trek 50th Anniversary merchandise to all fans. From April till September 2016 fans can buy a huge selection of merchandise items like shirts, lanyards, bags and more at the upcoming FedCon and Comic Con Germany convention, as well as online.

The organizers of Comic Con Germany are also excited to announce that more than 25,000 tickets have been sold for the convention that will take place on June 25th and 26th in Stuttgart, Germany. In two of the most modern halls of the Stuttgart convention center (more than 60,000 sqm) visitors will find everything sci-fi, fantasy and comic fans desire. Amongst the newest additions to the star and attraction roster are:

Adrian Paul

English born actor Adrian Paul is mainly known for his role as Duncan Macleod in the TV show Highlander (1992 – 1998). Adrien Paul has not only starred in films and TV shows for more than 30 years, but has also worked as a producer and director. He also founded the “Peace Fund” charity organization.

 Caroline Munro

Comic Con Germany gets a visit from another Bond girl. Before starting her career as an actress, Caroline Munro has worked successfully as a model. In 1977, she took the role of Naomi, personal assistant and helicopter pilot of Bond’s opponent Stromberg in the movie The Spy Who Loved Me. She is starring in movies till this date.

 German Garrison

Stormtroopers get ready to infiltrate Comic Con Germany! The German division of the world’s biggest Star Wars fan organization dedicated to wearing Imperial Stormtrooper armor will visit the convention with more than 100 members dressed in full armor. German Garrison was founded in 2000 and counts more than 500 active members. http://www.501st.de/
