Clones in ‘Star Wars: Rebels’

Most of the fans of Star Wars: Rebels are already aware that the second season of this animated series is coming in October. Trailers and other released information have also already revealed that this season is going to see the appearance of some Clone troopers who have survived the Clone Wars, and who are going to fight alongside the main heroes. Notable among them is Captain Rex, a favourite of many Clone Wars fans.

Disney has now released a new, almost five minutes long video in which the show’s executive producer Dave Filoni gives some more background to this endeavour. This interesting clip includes a bit about Dee Bradley Baker’s voice-acting for the clones and also about the specific characters of the troopers who are going to appear in Star Wars: Rebels.

The second season of Star Wars: Rebels is expected to air on the 14th October 2015, with the first episode to be previewed at New York Comic Con six days earlier.

Rostislav Kurka
Rostislav is a Protestant theologian and a self-trained Sith, counting Jan Hus, Dorothee Sölle, Darth Revan and Darth Traya among his main influences. He hails from the hundred-towered city of Prague, where he had spent a large part of his life creating worlds and inspiring young generations to roleplay. His involvement in organising children's camps led him to accidentally writing a Lord of the Rings musical, which made him temporarily famous, and a Three Musketeer-Jedi fanfilm, which didn't. He has recently moved to the frozen waste of Finland, because that's it, the Rebels are there.
